First, I would like to thank you for visiting my website and wanting to learn more!
Where to start? Well, I am a true Arizonian, born and raised right in beautiful Scottsdale. I graduated from Chaparral High School, and attended Northern Arizona University, in Flagstaff. I enjoyed the entire year I spent there. That's right, just one year, it turned out I had no clue what I wanted to do in life.
After becoming a mother, I knew if I wanted a decent life for my son I would need to buckle down and come up with a career plan. I went over a lot of opportunities: teaching, law, nursing, hospitality; then one night, while I had lost track of time building a "dream home" on a free design website, I realized I had a serious passion for interior design, and have for a long time. I've watched HGTV nearly every day since I was five, and my idea of fun is envisioning new layouts, learning how to tile a bathroom or hang new light fixtures. So there it was, I'd found my calling... now what? I knew what I loved, and I wanted to show it, but how?
I'm the kind of person that makes lists and writes an outline every time I travel somewhere, so just sporadically becoming an interior designer wasn't going to cut it, and I didn't want to get a degree with a toddler to care for. This is where the Arizona School of Real Estate & Business comes into the story. Being a mom with a full-time job, I decided to take the six-week course, but it still took me roughly five months to complete the 90 hours, and then another five months to take the exams and get my license. Not as quick as I had hoped for, but I made sure not to let it get in the way of my ambition.
Ten months and a few minor detours later, here I am, a Realtor® working with [Broker Name], and I plan to be more than just a successful agent. Becoming a well-educated agent, someone people can truly rely on to help them with their real estate endeavors, that is my goal. I feed my passion for interior design by staging properties and helping clients envision themselves in new houses. When the opportunity presents itself, I'll make my own investments, tackling some fixer-uppers along the way to hone my skills. This is more than just numbers and houses for me, I want to help wonderful people turn houses into beautiful homes of their own. That is my dream, and I'm ready to see it through, are you?
